Warrior is the second studio album by American recording artist Kesha. The album was written during 2011 and 2012, inspired by Kesha's spiritual journey, and was recorded between January and August 2012. Its music incorporates dance-pop, electropop, and electronic rock styles. Thematically, Warrior is intended to be more personal than her previous albums, Animal (2010) and Cannibal (2010), with an overall theme of "magic". Contributions to the album's production came from a wide range of producers including executive producer Dr. Luke. The album features songwriting from fun. and The Flaming Lips and features guest vocals from Iggy Pop.
Executive produced by Kemosabe Records head Dr. Luke, WARRIOR features tracks written by Ke$ha, as well as collaborations with producers, writers and musicians including, will.i.am, Max Martin, Benny Blanco, Cirkut, Bonnie McKee, Wayne Coyne, Iggy Pop, Patrick Carney, Ben Folds, Greg Kurstin, Kojak, Ammo, and Billboard. The first single "Die Young" was co-written by Ke$ha, Nate Ruess from fun., Dr. Luke, Benny Blanco and Cirkut.
